The fifty-ninth wedding anniversary of MR. AND MRS. J. T. HUTCHERSON was
celebrated Sunday at the home of their daughter, Mrs. T. J. Bissett and
Mr. Bissett. Mr. Bissett barbequed a large beef, which was served to
sixty friends and relatives, who had gathered under the shade trees in the
yard.
Mr. And Mrs. Hutcherson were united in marriage August 6th, 1874. Mr.
Hutcherson was born in Milam County, Texas, and is 78 years of age. Mrs.
Hutcherson was born in Freestone County, Texas, and is 75 years old.
Mr. And Mrs. Hutcherson have eight children living, viz: J. T. Hutcherson,
Kansas City, Mo.; B. W. Hutcherson, Sonora, Texas; Mrs. A. L. Wooten, Fort
Worth, Texas; Mrs. Jacobs, Fort Worth, Texas; Mr. J. T. Eubanks, Camp
Allison, Texas; Mrs. J. C. Rose, Hatch, New Mexico and Mrs. T. J. Bissett,
Erick, Oklahoma. Besides their eight children, they have 33 grandchildren
and 11 great grandchildren.
This couple has been very good citizens having reared four grandsons, in
addition to their own children. At the present their home is in Camp
Allison, Texas, near Sonora, but they are spending the summer with their
daughter, Mrs. T. J. Bissett.
Milestones by the roadside of life not to tell how far we are from our
starting point but how near we are coming to a worthy end.
