GOLDEN WEDDING ANNIVERSARY
On February the first MR. AND MRS. W. T. PENNINGTON celebrated their
Golden Wedding Anniversary at their home 3 miles South West of Erick.
They were married in Marion County, Tennessee, February 1st, 1877, and
moved from there to Lamar County, Texas in the fall of 1894, and from
there they moved to Beckham County Oklahoma in the year of 1922, and have
lived in the neighborhood of Erick.
There were 10 children born to them, only 6 now living, R. R. and W. L.
Pennington, both of near Erick, Stanley Pennington of Oklahoma City, Mrs.
W. L. Romans, Foss, Oklahoma; Mrs. J. H. Morgan and Mrs. Alfred Brooks,
both live 3 miles South West of Town. They have 22 grandchildren and five
great grandchildren living.
W. T. is an active farmer and is always jolly. He and his good wife are
both in fairly good health.
