Mr. and Mrs. Wray Are Honored on 50th Wedding Anniversary.
It was to honor Mr. and Mrs. James H. Wray on their Golden Wedding
anniversary that a family dinner was held Sunday in their home east of the
city.
James H. Wray and Mary Alice Haven were married November 30, 1904, in the
Richard Wise home, which was located three and one-half miles east of Elk
City.
The couple established a home on the farm on which they still reside.  Mr.
Wray homesteaded here in September, 1898.  Four children were born to this
union.  They are Duard C. Wray of Winnemucca, Nevada; Don Wray of Oklahoma
city; Nina Jean Keas and Lena Alice Rinard of Elk City.
Grandchildren of the couple are Don Keith Wray, Larry Max Wray, James
Harvey Wray, David Wray, Jimmie Dallas Keas, Reta Rae Lee and Sawana Jean
Keas.
The anniversary dinner was held at the Wray home.  The dining table was
covered with a white linen cloth that Mrs. Wray made in the first year of
her marriage, and was done in drawnwork.  Centering the table was a
three-tiered wedding cake, topped by a bride and groom.
Guests present for the dinner were Mr. Wray's brother, Tom Wray of
Albuquerque, N. M., and three sisters, Mrs. Anna Van Pelt of Richmond,
Mo.; Mrs. Lena Northcutt, and Miss Lina Mae Wray of Oklahoma City, Mr. and
Mrs. Jack Northcutt, Jackie and Billy, Mr. and Mrs. Don Wray and Larry,
Mr. and Mrs. Bob Lee, all of Oklahoma City.  Mr. and Mrs. Beuford Keas,
Jimmie and Sawana, Mr. and Mrs. Granville Wray and Wayne and Lena Alice
Rinard.
