We jerked on a pair of pants and coat, and in two minutes was on the desired spot, ready to hear Judge Trimble pronounce the solemn words which made two hearts beat as one. Mr. D. S. Gardener and Miss Dollie Carter, both of Delhi were the contracting parties, and they had stold(sic) a march on the old folks and friends and ran away to get married.
