Edith Ethel Burge

Edith Ethel Burge, 90, of Amarillo, died Monday, June 30, 1997.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Llano Cemetery with the 
Rev. Terry Lowe, associate pastor of St. Stephen United Methodist Church, 
officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 
Virginia Circle.

Mrs. Burge was born in Covington and had been a resident of Amarillo for 
20 years. She married John Peterson Burge in 1923 at Geary, Okla. He died 
in 1992.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include a son, Leon Burge of Amarillo; a sister of Savery, Kan.; 
and two grandchildren.
