All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Roselawn Cemetery--Okeene OK Alva Review Courier 23 Dec 2005 Ervin Laubach, 100, Okeene Funeral service for Ervin Laubach, 100, will be Saturday, December 24, 2005 at 10 a.m. at the Zion Baptist Church in Okeene with Pastor Kenneth Wilcox officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery, east and south of Okeene with arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc., of Okeene. Online condolences may be made at www.lanmanfuneralhomes.com. Visitation will be Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., at the funeral home and before the service on Saturday at the church. Ervin was born July 24, 1905 in Okeene, Oklahoma to Henry J. Laubach and Molly Fisher Laubach. He attended Okeene public school to the eleventh grade. Ervin married Edvina Greb on November 4, 1930 in Okeene. They shared 71 years of marriage until her death in 2001. He was a self- employed carpenter and farmer in the Okeene area for many years until his retirement. He spent his entire life in the Okeene area and was a member of the Zion Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Jay Lee and wife, Judy Laubach of Okeene, Gary Laubach and wife, Margie of Okeene; one daughter, Nada Hokit and husband, Ron of Duncan, Oklahoma; two sisters, Dorothy Greb and Ruth Kosanke; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; five great-great- grandchildren. Ervin was preceded in death by his wife, Edvina in 2001 and one son, Arnold.
