Hazel D. Roderick

The graveside service for Hazel D. Roderick will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at 
Memory Gardens Memorial Park in Medford.

Mrs. Roderick, 94, of Citrus Heights, Calif., formerly of the Rogue 
Valley, died March 11, 2003, at her home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Asante Hospice, 2825 E. Barnett 
Road, Medford, OR 97504, or the American Cancer Society, c/o Research, 31 
W. Sixth St., Medford, OR 97501.

She was born Sept. 21, 1908, in Watonga, Okla. She married James A. 
Roderick, who died in 1964. She lived in the Rogue Valley from 1947 to 
1989.

Mrs. Roderick worked at JC Penney in Medford for many years before her 
retirement.

Survivors include two sons, Donald Kemp, Paradise, Calif., and Dean 
Duncan, Rio Linda, Calif.; two sisters, Delores Curtain, Enid, Okla., and 
Corinne Schlanger, Midwest City, Okla.; eight grandchildren; 23 great-
grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Arrangements: Memory Gardens Mortuary, Medford.
