Dorothy E. (Bates) Smith, 88, of Wann, died Wednesday at Windsor Place in 
Coffeyville, Kan.

Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Wann Community Center in Wann. 
Burial will follow at the Wann Cemetery under the direction of Graves 
Funeral Home of Caney, Kan.

Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Graves Funeral Home in 
Caney, Kan. The family will greet friends the same day from 3 to 5 p.m.

Memorials may be made to the Wann Community Center or the Wann Methodist 
Church and may be left with Graves Funeral Home of Caney, Kan.

Survivors include seven daughters, Betty Thomas of rural Wann, Mae Landrum 
of Bartlesville, Colleen Fout of Shady Point, Margie Walker of Seminole, 
Ruth Clopp and Barbara Owen both of Dewey, and Wanda Miller of Caney, 
Kan.; 44 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several great-
great-grandchildren.
