She was 12 years old, had a kind disposition and was liked by everyone who knew her. The entire community extends their sympathy to Mr. and Mrs. Weber in their loss of their little girl. Kingfisher Weekly Free Press, Thursday, July 5, 1917, p.6 FUNERAL OF EMMA WEBER The funeral services of Emma Weber, foster daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.A. Weber of two miles northwest of Omega was held Monday afternoon at the Advent Church, Rev. Schafner officiating. Miss Weber died after an operation for appendicitis at the El Reno sanitarium. She was twelve years of age. Webber, is in the hospital at El Reno and was recently operated on for appendicitis. She is doing very well. Mrs. Webber is with her daughter and Mr. Webber went down Saturday to visit them over Sunday. Watonga Republican, July 12, 1917, p. 5 Emma Webber, the little 12-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.A. Webber, of Omega, died in the hospital at El Reno one day last week following an operation for appendicitis. The little girl has been ill ever since an attack of the measles some weeks ago.
