Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Bill Nickell, of the church, officiating. Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery by Brooks Funeral Directors of Canyon. Mrs. Watson was born March 27, 1928, in Canton, Okla., to Clarence and Iva Escoe. She married Nathan Watson on July 20, 1946, in Amarillo. She had been a resident of Canyon for more than 50 years and owned and operated Sunset Beauty Shop in Canyon. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Canyon. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Nathan Ann Payne. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Lynn Andrews of Hereford and Terri Heaster of Amarillo; three sons-in-law, Henry Payne and Doug Heaster, both of Amarillo, and Mark Andrews of Hereford; two sisters, Bernice McDanel of Wellington and Lorrene Carr of Borger; four grandchildren, Janet Anthony, Natalie Sanderson, Shanna Carver and Courtney Heaster; and five great-grandchildren, Jackie Anthony, Jeremy Anthony, Ryan Andrew Sanderson, Mason McKay Carver and Aspen Leanna Heaster. The family suggests memorials be to Crown of Texas Hospice, 1000 S. Jefferson, Amarillo,TX 79101; or to the American Cancer Society, 3915 Bell St., Amarillo, TX 79109.
