My Father died when I was 6 weeks old, and the 2nd,October my mother married my step-Father Andrew Jackson Lauderdale,(giving me grounds to beleave my mother rong in the year of my birth) as I date only from memory in conc-urnance with record of marrages, there were no statical records of births in the Indian Territory untill State-hood 1907. It seems it was impossiable for my Stepfather to love me, and for the protection of my mothers other children it was decided to place me in some other home.
