Cox, Jan. 12, 2003) This cemetery is a few miles southeast of Calera (Bryan Co.), Oklahoma off Lemon Hill Road. There are 31 tombstones with inscriptions, but many more only marked by stones or by sunken in depressions. The first evidence of burials is with the baby, Jessie Cox, on Nov. 6, 1894. The last burial is Lou. Gaston in 1939. The cemetery plot measures approximately 210 x 90 feet. Although there is a concrete marker placed there by the O'Donley family 15 or so years ago calling it the Mead Chapel Cemetery/School, the owner of the land since 1952 says the earliest name he ever heard it called was the Lemon Hill Cemetery. He says an old man named Perkins called it that. Surname Birth - Death Notes Bostick, Zorah A. 14 Jan 1881 - 12 Sep 1895 dau. of G.M. & S.A.
