E. Sharp of Calera. Vows will be exchanged at 7 o'clock Friday evening, December 19, in the Washington home at Caddo. Miss Sipes is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. G. R. Haley of Durant and attended Southeastern State College last year, where she was pledged to Pi Kappa Sigma sorority. Prior to that time, she attended Oklahoma College for Women at Chickasha for two years, finish- ing there in the spring of 1940. Mr. Sharp, who has been a principal of the Caddo High School for the past two years, received his B.S. degree from Southeastern Oklahoma A&M College in Stillwater and took his Master's at Southeastern Oklahoma College in Stillwater. The young couple will make their home in Caddo. NOTE: They were married 19 December 1941.
