High score at bridge was held by Mrs. Hilton Grafa of Durant and the bride's prize to Miss Sipes. The hostesses presented the bride-to- be with the shower of gifts when she was presented with the bride's prize. The hostesses served a salad plate to four tables of guests and the honoree. BRIDE-TO-BE HONORED Mesdames Joe McKinnis, Jack Pate, Joe M. Brown, Carl Petty, Hugh Huddleston, Vivia Locke, and J. D. Maytubby entertained at the home of Mrs. McKinnis Friday evening with a reception-shower to honor the bride- to-be, Miss Georgine Sipes. Guests were met at the door by Mrs. Joe McKinnis, who wore a black alpaca dress with corsage of red carnations. Miss Georgine Sipes who wore a black French crepe dress trimmed in red with red carnations in her hair, looked very charming. Mrs. Fred Washington, Miss Sipes' aunt, wore a black crepe dress with a corsage of white carnations. Mrs. Huddleston presided at the guest book. Mrs. Vivia Locke presided at the refreshment table, which was laid in crystal. White chrysanthemums and baby's breath were used in decora- ting the table and the rooms throughout with white and yellow. Assisting in the dining room were Mesdames Pate, Maytubby and Brown. During the evening music was furnished by Misses Sarah Goddard and Jean Thompson. Guests included Mesdames Fred Washington, J.W. Smith, C.D. Robin- son, Roy Riddels, Roy L. Cochran, L.M. Wood, H.F. Bass, Mary Wilson, N. B. Folsom, Guy G. Crosset, Minnie Braudrick, W.E. McIntosh, John Cun- ningham, Ernest Darling, John McCalman, Virgil Slack, C.C. Bilbo, M.A. Cassidy, Haskell Taylor, Joe M. Brown, Jack Pate, Carl Petty, Vivia Locke, J.D. Maytubby, Hugh Huddleston, Joe McKinnis, Misses Sara Luton, Christine Philpott, Sarah Goddard, Jean Thompson, Zuleika Boland, Vera Eppler, Margarette Boland and the honoree, Miss Sipes.
