Robison said highway patrol and county officers joined police in a widespread search that lasted most of the night for a young man dressed in a t-shirt and striped pants. He is believed to be about 125 pounds and wearing short hair, according to the report given police by the wo- man. He wasn't found. Robison said the woman had pulled into a parking space about 5:40 p.m. in front of Sweeney drug. As she started to leave her auto, the young man, holding something under his t-shirt, ordered her to the pass- enger's side of the auto. She told authorities that she didn't see any kind of weapon in the young man's hands, but believed he had a pistol. The woman began whacking the kidnapper over the head with her purse. The man left her auto and ran west down Main. She said whatever the man had under his shirt, he put into his pocket while running away. Police said the woman was shaken, but managed later to smile at the incident. Robison said he, at first, thought it may have been one of two men who escaped from the McLoud farm, but the description__________.
