Benjamin B. Ashford

BORGER - Benjamin "Buddy" B. Ashford, 80, died Monday, May 11, 1998.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Gethsemany Cemetery in 
Caddo, Okla. Arrangements are by Minton / Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Mr. Ashford was born in Kenefic, Okla., and had been Borger resident since 
1950. He retired as a mechanic in 1981 from Phillips Petroleum Co.

He served with the Army during World War II. He was a member of Monroe 
Street Church of Christ and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Mr. Ashford married Helen White in 1950. She died in 1968. He married 
Clemmie Jones in 1981.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Danny Ashford of Harrogate, England; a 
daughter, Jeanette Keitz of Durant, Okla.; three brothers, Steve Ashford 
and Glenn Ashford, both of Borger, and Clifton Ashford of Cash; a sister, 
Marie Behrens of Mannsville, Okla.; four grandchildren; and a great-
grandchild.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. 
today.
