Susie Atkinson, 92

Funeral Services are pending for Susie Atkinson, 92, of 
Bokchito, who died Wednesday, Dec.23, 1998, in Durant. 
Coffey Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Susie Beatrice Atkinson, 92

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Moday at the 
Peoples Holiness Church in Bokchito for Susie Beatrice 
Atkinson, 92, of Bokchito. Revs. R.H. Brese and Fred 
Waldrep will officiate. Mrs. Atkinson died Wednesday, 
Dec.23, 1998, in Durant.

The daughter of Levi and Anna McCraw French, she was 
born Tuesday, May 1, 1906, in Wade.

Mrs. Atkinson was a member of the Peoples Holiness Church. 

She loved to take care of her flowers and garden and enjoyed  
fishing.  "Granny Susie," as she was lovingly called by her 
grandchildren, will be dearly missed for her laughter and 
warmth by her family and friends.

She married Earl Talmage Atkin-son on May 2, 1925, in Wade.

Susie was preceded in death by her husband Earl Talmage 
Atkinson on Sept. 4, 1969, her parents, a granddaughter, 
two great grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters.

Burial will be in Bokchito Cemetery under the direction of Coffey
Funeral Home.
