Adams Michael R. Adams, 40, formerly of Duncan, died Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2002, in Durant. Service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel in Duncan. ========= Duncan Banner 23 Aug 2002 Michael Roy Adams Michael Roy Adams, 40, of Colbert died Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2002, in Durant. Service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Green officiating. Burial will be in Duncan City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mr. Adams was born May 13, 1962, in Duncan to Benny Roy and Leslie Hembree Adams. He married Sabra Ward Dec. 13, 2000. Mr. Adams was a graduate of Duncan High School Class of 1980 and was active in FFA. He moved to Lone Grove and later to Durant where he continued his education at Grayson Community College, being named to the Dean’s Honor Roll. He was employed with Presco Products Manufacturing and was a flag maker. He was an enthusiastic sports fan. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Sabra, of Colbert, where they shared life together; his parents, Benny and Leslie Adams of Duncan; a daughter, Marisa Townsend, and a grandson, Maddox Adams, both of Denison, Texas; a son, Coy Adams, and a grandson, Coy Morrison, both of Colbert; a brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Lori Adams of Duncan; his paternal grandmother, Flossie Adams of Duncan; maternal grandparents, Carl and Ruth Jackson of Lone Grove; and a niece and nephew, Abby and Kyle Adams, both of Duncan. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Curly Adams.
