Files may be printed or copied for personal use only. ----------------------------------------------------- THE DURANT DAILY DEMOCRAT TUESDAY, JAN. 12, 1999 Anna Lois Allred, 83 Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Vega United Methodist Church, Vega, Texas, for Anna Lois Allred, 83, who died Sun-day, Jan.10, 1999, in Vega. The Rev. Mark Phillips will officiate. The eulogy will be given by D. Allred. Mrs. Alired was born in Seymour, Texas, and had lived in the Vega and Wildorado area for 50 years. She graduated from Amarillo High School in 1934. She was a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell until 1945 when she began ranching and farming. She was a member of Vega United Methodist Church. She married Don L. Allred in 1942 in Clayton, N.M. Burial will be in Palo Duro Cemetery under the direction of Vega Funeral Home. The family suggests memorials be made to Baptist St. Anthony's Hospice, Box 950, Amarillo, Texas, 79176-0001, Palo Duro Cemetery or Vega United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held today until 7 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until noon at the Vega Funeral Home.
