Ansley, 82, a retired surveyor, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2005, at a Fort Worth care center. Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wedneday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Memorials: Alpha-Omega Hospice, Box 162041, Fort Worth, Texas 76161-2041, in lieu of flowers. Earnest was born June 18, 1922, in Bryan County, Okla., to John and Lillie Chambers Ansley. He retired from the Air Force after 26 years of service. Earnest loved fishing and was an amateur photographer. He was a member of VFW Post #2544. Survivors: Wife of 51 years, Alice Ansley; children, Patrick D. Ansley and wife, Shirley, Arthur B. Ansley, Michael H. Ansley and wife, Hye Cha, and Mary A. Purl and husband, William M.; 10 grandchildren; 19 great- grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and brother, Walter Ansley.
