Bishop III, 35, Bokchito, who died Sunday, Aug. 24, 2003, at Oklahoma University Medical Center, Oklahoma City. ======== Tuesday, August 26, 2003 Durant Daily Democrat Tommy D. Bishop III, 35 A service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Seventh and Beech Church of Christ for Tommy D. Bishop III, 35, Bokchito, who died Sunday, Aug. 24, 2003, at Oklahoma University Medical Center, Oklahoma City. Bro. Ken Stegall and Bro. John Curtis will officiate. He was born Wednesday, July 31, 1968, in Denison, Texas, to Tommy Derrell Bishop Jr. and Jan (Bates) Bishop. He married Rhonda Bishop July 1, 1988, in Durant. He graduated from Silo High School and received his degree from the Sunset School of Preaching in Lubbock, Texas. He was the minister of the Bokchito Church of Christ. He loved to fish. His love was his family and his church family. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Derrell and Aileen Bishop. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery with pallbearers Ryan Bell, Scott Robinson, Jason Andrews, Kendell Higgenbottom, Rusty Abrams, Jerry Pruitt, Steve Purvis and Lee Sage. Family hour will be 8-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
