Busbey, 70, Durant, who died Sunday, Nov. 16, 2003, at Texoma Medical Center, Denison, Texas. ============= Tuesday, November 18, 2003 Durant Daily Democrat Wanda Irene Busbey, 70 A service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Coffey-Murray Chapel for Wanda Irene Busbey, 70, Durant, who died Sunday, Nov. 16, 2003, at Texoma Medical Center, Denison, Texas. Bro. Dan Beckett and Billy Miller will officiate. She was born Monday, Dec. 5, 1932, in Achille, to Frank Charles and Clora (Taylor) Chalk. She married Kenneth Busbey Aug. 1, 1951, in Durant. She was a member of the Baptist faith, who enjoyed traveling, making arts and crafts and activities with her grandsons. She truly loved being with her family. She will be missed by all her friends and family. She enjoyed working at the family business, Clinnin’s Grocery, Whitesboro, Texas, until just recently. She well be remembered best by how she loved to help others. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 1970, and brother Jerry Wayne Chalk. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery with pallbearers David Ball, Terry Cole, Bobby Chalk, Darrell Hiberd, Robert Simmons and Steve Chalk. Family hour is 6-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
