All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Durant Daily Democrat 11 Jan 2005 Anthony Kristopher Boston, 18 A service for Anthony Kristopher "Kris" Boston, 18, of Bokchito, who passed away Saturday, January 8, 2005, at his residence, will be held at the Rock Creek Community Church, Tuesday, January 11, 2005, at 3 p.m. The Rev. Sam Vaughn will officiate. Kris was born May 15, 1986, in Durant to Ellen and Tony Boston. He was also raised in this area, attending Rock Creek schools and working for Haislip Sanitation. Kris married Shanda on July 27, 2003 in Bokchito, Ok. He loved to be with his wife and daughter, and to visit with family and friends. Kris loved making everyone around him laugh, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his father Tony Boston, paternal grandfather Clayburn Boston, and maternal grandmother Odessa May. Kris is survived by his wife Shanda Boston and daughter Brook Boston, both of the home; parents Ellen and Gerry Haislip of Bokchito; brother Tim Scott and wife Cindy of Joplin, Missouri; stepbrothers Brent Haislip, Jami Haislip and wife Kami of Bennington, and Joey Haislip; stepsister Sherrie Bragg and husband David of Lake Tin Killer; paternal grandmother Donna Boston; greatgrandmother Gladys Boston of Durant; special "nana" Elitha McBride of Bokchito; extended family Allen and Melissa Scott, Latisha and J.J. Mays, and Colby and Carol Ann Scott; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, many other relatives, and a host of dear friends. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery with Tim Scott, Richard McBride, Kerry-Paul Ashby, Johnny Ashby, Allen Scott and Brandon Crawford serving as pallbearers. Honorary bearers will be Nick and Neal Johnson. Family hour will be today from 6-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
