Family hour will be from 6-7 p.m. Monday at Coffey-Murray Funeral Home. ========= Durant Daily Democrat 15 Feb 2005 Faye Baker, 77 A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Baker Cemetery near DeQueen, Ark., for Faye Baker, 77, Colbert, who died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2005, at Texoma Medical Center, Denison, Texas. Melvin Baker will officiate. The daughter of Edgar Bone and Nellie (Jackson) Dobbins, she was born Friday, Sept. 30, 1927, in Yarnaby. She was married to Charles Baker. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Paris, Texas, and The Eastern Star Lodge, Wright City. She loved to travel, especially going on cruises. She also enjoyed hunting and fishing with her husband and spending time with her family and friends. She attended school in Yuba and at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. She was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of Bryan County. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 52 years on Nov. 7, 1999; four brothers; and three sisters. She is survived by Charlie Baker and wife Darla, Calera, Linda Campbell and husband Richard Truchot, Afton, Wyo., Mary Nell Ballew and husband Larry, Durant, and Ruth Money, Owasso. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she dearly loved. Family hour will be from 6-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
