Durant Daily Democrat Sunday, March 7, 2004 Alma Butler, 94 A service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Bennington First Baptist Church for Alma Butler, 94, Bennington, who died Saturday, March 6, 2004, at Oakridge Manor Nursing Home. Family hour will be 7-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Coffey-Murray Funeral home is handling arrangements. =========== Durant Daily Democrat Monday, March 8, 2004 Alma Marie Butler, 94 A service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Bennington First Baptist Church for Alma Marie Butler, 94, Bennington, who died Saturday, March 6, 2004, at Oak Ridge Manor Nursing Home in Durant. The Revs. Les Peevyhouse and Carrell Hooper will officiate. The daughter of Edward Titus and Rose Etta (Draper) Rogers, she was born Thursday, June 17, 1909, in Arkadelphia, Ark. Mrs. Butler was a homemaker and child care provider. She married Marion Franklin Butler Dec. 5, 1925, in Bennington. Preceding her in death were her parents, infant son Wilburn Butler, her husband, brothers Claudie, Henry, Virgil and Charlie Rogers and sister Dovie Brand. Burial will be in Bennington Cemetery with Ricky Butler, Chris Butler, Tim Moore, Brad Jestis, Bradley Butler and Michael Butler serving as pallbearers. Family hour is 7-8 p.m today at the funeral home.
