Monday, October 20, 2003 Durant Daily Democrat Elsie Marie Bailey, 74 A service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church, Hugo, for Elsie Marie Bailey, 74, Hugo, who died Saturday, Oct. 18, 2003, in Calera. The Revs. Otis Clayton, Mike Armes and Brian McClain, Tribal Council speaker Kenny Bryant, Chief Greg Pyle and Gary Batton will officiate. She was born Nov. 11, 1928, in Grant, to Young Henry and Elsie G. (Rolen) Foster. She married William Henry Bailey in 1948, in Hugo. She was a homemaker and a member of Grant Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Henry C. Foster and son Randy Bailey, March 29, 2002. Burial will be in Grant Cemetery with pallbearers Ernie Taylor, Franke Beal, Wayne Wylie, Bill Blankenship, Roy Cooper and Michael Phillips. Honorary pallbearers will be Elaine Justice, Janie Dillard, Diane Perrin, Nanette Wylie, Brenda Van Newkirk, Charlotte Jackson and Judy Allen. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home, 216 E Jackson, Hugo. Prater-Lampton-Mills Coffey Funeral Home, Hugo, is handling arrangements. ============ Thursday, October, 23, 2003 Durant Daily Democrat Elsie Marie Bailey Elsie Marie Bailey of Hugo, Oklahoma, died Saturday, October 18, 2003 at the age of 74. Marie was born November 11, 1928 in Grant, Oklahoma to Young Henry and Elsie G (Rolen) Foster. She married William Harvey Bailey in 1948 in Hugo. She was a homemaker and a member of the Grant Baptist Church. Marie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a brother, Henry C. Foster. She was also preceded in death by a son, Randy Bailey, on March 29, 2002. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, October 21, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Hugo. Services were officiated by Reverend Otis Cayton, Reverend Mike Armes, Brian McClain, Tribal Council Speaker Kenny Bryant, Chief Greg Pyle and Gary Batton. Pallbearers were Ernie Taylor, Frank Deal, Wayne Wylie, Bill Blankenship, Roy Cooper and Michael Phillips. Honorary pallbearers were Elaine Justice, Janie Dillard, Diane Perrin, Nanette Wyle, Brenda VanNewkirk, Charlotte Jackson, Alice Ann Spears and Judy Allen.
