Rev. Royce V. Colbert will officiate. He was born Sept. 17, 1935, in Telephone, Texas, to Nelson William Billey and Nora Lee Arrington Billey. He married Willie Faye Thedford Nov. 26, 1956, in Hook, Texas. He worked in landscaping and was of the Christian belief. He enjoyed gardening and being with family. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, four brothers and two sisters. He is survived by sons Ronald W. Billey and wife Roxanne and Joseph N. Billey, all of Irving; daughters Rose F. Arriaga and husband Luciana, Grand Prairie, Texas, and Margie Cortina and husband Fernando, Irving; grandchildren William N. Billey, Grand Prairie, Jennifer O'Neal, Durant, Glenna F. Greene, Loriane, Texas, Alisha M. Greene, Loriane, Rose M. Perdomo, Grand Prairie, Joseph L. Perdomo, Duncanville, Texas, Steven W. Golden, Irving, Sandra L. Golden, Irving, Cierra Cortina, Irving, and Fernando Cortina Jr., Irving; and great-grandchildren Mark Casarez, Grand Prairie, Miranda Golden, Irving, Patricia Mejia, Irving, Steven Golden Jr., Irving, Isaiah Perdomo, Grand Prairie, and Alexis Billey, Grand Prairie. Pallbearers will be William Billey, Steven Golden, Ronald Billey Joseph Billey, Danny Ivey and Ray Ivey. Family hour will be from 7-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home chapel.
