Blagg, 74 Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Christian Church in San Angelo, Texas, for Rosemary H. Blagg, 74, of San Angelo. The Rev. Ben Hubert will officiate. Mrs. Blagg died Saturday, April 17, 1999, at 8:30 a.m. at her San Angelo home. Rosemary was born March 14, 1925, in Sweetwater, Texas, to James W. and Lena Matthews Hargett. She was a graduate of Brownwood High School and graduated from Howard Payne University with a bachelor of arts and a bachelor of sciences degrees. She began a teaching career with the Brownwood, Texas, Independent School District. She later married Raymond Blagg on June 30, 1950, in Brownwood. They moved to San Angelo in 1966. Rosemary was involved in music most of her life. She was the organist for the First Christian Church in Brownwood and several churches in San Angelo. She was a lifelong piano teacher and member of the San Angelo Music Teachers Association. Mrs. Blagg was a member of the First Christian Church in San Angelo, the Goldstone Sunday School Class and the local and area Christian Women's Fellowship. Burial will be Fairmount Cemetery in San Angelo under the direction of Johnson's Funeral Home of San Angelo.
