Dee Cox Services: Tues., Jan. 29, 10 a.m. Services will be held at the 
Central Church of Christ, 425 S. H St., for Dee Cox, 93, who passed away 
January 26, 2002. Mr. Bill Barksdale, will officiate. Mr. Cox was born on 
October 19, 1908, in Durant, Oklahoma and resided in Kern County for 50 
years. He managed Fikes Grocery Store for 30 years. Mr. Cox is survived by 
his wife May Cox; daughter Bonnie Burkett; daughter and son-in-law Betty 
and Troy Turner; son and daughter-in-law Harold and Norma Cox; numerous 
grandchildren, great grandchildren, step-children and step-grandchildren. 
No Visitation is scheduled. Greenlawn Mortuary Funeral Directors
