All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Durant Daily Democrat 29 Jan 2005 Cox, John Services for John Cox, 76, of Durant, who passed away Thursday, January 27, 2005, at Dallas Presbyterian Hospital, are pending with Brown"s Funeral Service. ========= Durant Daily Democrat 31 Jan 2005 John Henry Cox Jr., 76 Services for John Henry Cox Jr., 76, Durant, who passed away Thursday, Jan. 27, 2005, at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, Texas, will be Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2005, at 11 a.m. at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Sherman, Texas. Rev. Jim Zinger will officiate. John was born Aug. 2, 1928, in Pocahontas, Ark., to John Henry Cox Sr. and Anna (McGee) Cox. John married Luella Mae White May 13, 1950, in Kokomo, Ind. He attended North Central Bible College in Minneapolis, Minn., and was a pastor and factory worker. John was a member of the Abundant Life Temple in Durant. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Anna Cox, his mother- and father-in-law, Albert and Beulah White, and son Ronald Eugene Cox. Survivors include his wife, Luella Mae Cox, of the home; daughter Rhonda Clouse, Durant; son Rick Cox and wife Dawn, Howe, Texas; grandchildren Jason Robert Clouse, Durant, and Andrea and Christy Cox, Howe, Texas; and many loving brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Interment will be at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Sherman, Texas. There is no family hour scheduled, but the funeral home will be open from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. and from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday for viewing.
