All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Durant Daily Democrat 31 Dec 2004 Vincent "Vinney" Cacace, 57 Services for Vincent "Vinney" Cacace, 57, Durant, who died December 27, 2004, at Wilson N Jones in Sherman, Texas, are pending with Brown's Funeral Service of Durant. ========= Durant Daily Democrat 29 Dec 2004 Vincent Gus "Vinny" Cacace, 57 Services for Vincent Gus "Vinny" Cacace, 57, Durant, who passed away Monday, December 27, 2004, at Wilson N. Jones, will be held at St. Williams Catholic Church, Friday, December 31, 2004, at 10 a.m. Father Valle will officiate. Vinny was born March 27, 1947, in Brooklyn, New York, to Gus and Catherine J (Patti) Cacace. He attended Massapequa High School in Long Island, New York, and came to Oklahoma in 1979. Vinny owned One Stop Rental and was a member of the Three Valley Motorcycle Club and Harley-Davidson Owners Group. He married June Gaither on May 5, 2003, in Denison, Texas. Vinny enjoyed riding motorcycles, golf, spending time with family and making people laugh. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gus and Catherine Cacace. Vinny is survived by his wife, June, of the home; son Vincent Thomas "Vinny" Cacace, Durant; grandchildren Derek Thomas Cacace and Austin Lyn Cacace, both of Durant; former wife Cecelia Cacace of Durant; sister Linda Nelson and husband John of Florida; niece Jennifer Nelson, great-nephew Zackary Nelson, and nephew John Nelson, all of Nashville, Tennessee; and many other relatives and a host of friends. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery with David King, Keith Pester, Steve Maynard, Mike Maynard, Gary Cole and Greg Davis serving as pallbearers. Family hour will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Brown's Funeral Service is handling the arrangements.
