Loyd Earl Chesher

FRIONA - Loyd Earl Chesher, 65, died Tuesday, April 13, 2004.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Friona United Methodist Church with 
the Rev. Steve Patterson, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Friona 
Cemetery by Blackwell Funeral Home.

Mr. Chesher was born Aug. 1, 1938, in Durant, Okla., to Jessie O. and 
Bessie Petty Chesher. A 1957 graduate of Amarillo High School, he moved to 
Friona in 1958 from Amarillo. He married Linda O'Brian on Aug. 20, 1960, in 
Friona. He attended Friona United Methodist Church. He was a farmer.

Survivors include his wife; his mother of Friona; four daughters, Cindy D. 
Adams of Amarillo, Cathy L. Shields and Charla B. Chesher, both of Friona, 
and Cristy A. Allen of Buckeye, Ariz.; three brothers, Albert Chesher of 
Hereford, Harold Chesher of Stockton, Calif., and Jimmy Chesher of 
Stratford; a sister, Imelda Scott of Amarillo; and seven grandchildren.
