Floyd E. Cole

Floyd E. Cole, 79, of Amarillo, died Sunday, June 1, 1997.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of 
Memories, 6969 E. Interstate 40, with Dan Powers, pastor of Northside 
Assembly of God, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Cole was born in Achille, Okla. He retired from Southwestern Public 
Service after working there for 30 years. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 
763 at Wellington and Northside Assembly of God.

Survivors include his wife, Edith L. Cole; a son, Bobby L. Cole of Argyle; 
a daughter, Donnie Terry of Houston; two brothers, Herman Cole of 
Plainview and Jesse Cole Jr. of Lubbock; three sisters, Ruby Waitzam of 
Glendale, Ariz., Ann Grant of Hemet, Calif., and Lucrecia Hanna of 
Amarillo; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
