All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Harley Hoyt Campbell LAMESA - Harley Hoyt Campbell, 85, died Wednesday, March 24, 1999. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dennis Teeters, pastor, and the Rev. Clifton Igo, pastor emeritus of Second Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Lamesa Memorial Park. Mr. Campbell was born in Deport and was a World War II Navy veteran. He was service manager for automobile dealerships including Vaughn Chevrolet, Nix Motor Co., and Bob Brown Motors. After his retirement, he was a metal artist for 12 years. He married Mary Frances Fennell in 1933 at Durant, Okla. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Nerita Janel Campbell, in 1935. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Kay Freeman of Lubbock and Karen Reeves of Sacramento, Calif.; a brother, Ralph Campbell of Lubbock; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to the television ministry of First Baptist Church, Vistacare Family Hospice, 3210 E. 11th Place, Big Spring, TX 79720.
