Annis Elizabeth Corbett HEREFORD - Annis Elizabeth Corbett, 97, died Saturday, Aug. 16, 2003. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in West Park Cemetery with Tommy D. Carnahan, lay minister, officiating. Arrangements are by Gililland-Watson Funeral Home. Mrs. Corbett was born Nov. 27, 1905, in Durant, Okla. She married Paul Stuartt Corbett on July 21, 1935, in Las Vegas, N.M. She was a member of Culture Home Demonstration Club and was a 4-H leader. She was a member of Red Cross Grey Ladies and was the first woman Chamber of Commerce secretary in Texas. Survivors include a daughter, Paula Price of Hereford; two sons, Ronald Corbett of Carlton and James Corbett of Dallas; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Boys Ranch.
