All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== :Cremated Durant Democrat 8 Nov 2004 Tara Kayleen Carpenter, 28 Services are pending with Dalton-Holmes Funeral Home for Tara Kayleen Carpenter, 28, Durant, who died Friday, Nov. 5, 2004, in Colbert. ========== Durant Democrat 9 Nov 2004 Tera Kayleen Carpenter, 28 A memorial service for Tera Kayleen Carpenter, 28, Durant, who passed away Friday, November 5, 2004, in Colbert, will be held Tuesday, November 9, 2004, at Brown's Funeral Chapel at 1 p.m. Rev. James Robinson will officiate. Tera was born on March 9, 1976, in Alpine, Texas, to Johnny Wireman and Margaret Sue (McClure) Carpenter. She attended Silo Schools, and she was looking forward to becoming an optometrist. Tera collected antiques and was known to care for any animals she found. She loved and enjoyed basketball and worked in medical records and as a nail tech. She was a very adventurous person, and she will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Harry Charlcie Carpenter and Bill McClure. She is survived by her mother, Margaret Sue McClure, Durant; her father and his wife Johnny and Fay Carpenter, Alpine; her sisters Kelly Hendricks and her husband Brandon, Mead, Misty Eversole, Durant, and Celeste Carpenter, Rose; two nephews Shawn and Justin Hendricks, Mead; niece Natalie Eversole, Durant; and maternal grandparents James and Carroleen Hedgecoke, Durant. Family hour will be today from 6 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Brown's Funeral Service and Texoma Cremation Service are handling the arrangements.
