All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Bethany Cemetery--Bethany OK Hoyt Cain Cargal 1938 - 2007 Hoyt Cain Cargal was born October 17, 1938 in Wade, Oklahoma and went to his eternal reward February 4, 2007. He graduated from Bethany High School and attended Bethany Nazarene College in Bethany, Oklahoma. He earned a Bachelor of Theology degree from American Divinity School. He served as a minister for over forty-five years in Texas, Oklahoma, Iowa, South Carolina, Louisiana, and Indiana. He also taught in Bible Colleges in Indiana, Kansas, and Missouri and was involved in short-term mission work in Honduras, Egypt, Africa and New Guinea, and Guam. His passions were Bible study and scriptural analysis, teaching theology and philosophy, mission work, political discussion and the pursuit of a good bargain. During retirement he served as census taker and precinct inspector during elections. He was preceded in death by his father, Hoyt Chick Cargal and mother, Nancy Florabecca Lawson Cargal; brothers, Houston and Kenneth Cargal; and sisters, Mildred Clark and Hazel Burnett. He is survived by his loving and dedicated wife of 47 years, Julia; daughters, Rebecca Marinelle and husband Mike Weaver of Wabash, Indiana, Cynthia Julianne and husband Danny Gremillion of Fairview, Texas, Christi Joellen and husband John Ledo of Olathe, Kansas; and son, Hoyt Carl Cargal of Enid, Oklahoma. Survivors also include grandchildren, Michael Hoyt Weaver and wife Michele, Machelle Weaver and Caleb Gremillion; as well as great-grandchildren, Kolby, Allie and Josie Weaver. Surviving siblings are sisters, Dean Tarrant, Linnie Gray, Carolyn Ehrlich, and Ann Canon; brothers, Chick Cargal and John Paul Cargal; and many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Evangelistic Faith Missions, P.O. Box 609, Bedford, IN 47421. Family Visitation will be Thursday, February 8, 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service. Services will be conducted by Rev.
