The Revs. Jacob Toews and Mike Bates will officiate. Norvil is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Ruby Gray; five loving children and their spouses, ... Norvil was born on Feb. 19, 1913, in Steadman. His parents, Early and Gertrude Cranford preceded him in death along with one sister and five brothers including his twin brother, Orvill. He married Ruby Gray on Oct. 5, 1935, in Ada. Mr. Cranford worked hard during his lifetime. He was a self- employed truck driver most of his working years, but he also spend 15 years working at Durant Milling Co. Although Norvil spent his early years in the Ada area, Durant was his home. He only traveled outside Oklahoma on short trips to work or vacation. He was a member of Pirtle Baptist Church and on occasions would assume the role of song leader. He loved to sing and the old gospel songs were his favorite. Norvil loved sports of all kinds, including hunting, but his number one love was fishing where he brewed his delicious river coffee. He enjoyed life and was always teasing and cutting up. His special smile will be remembered by all who knew him. Murray Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery.
