All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Wednesday, August 6, 2003 Durant Daily Democrat Barbara Jean Carnes, 52 A service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Coffey-Murray Funeral Chapel for Barbara Jean Carnes, 52, Cartwright, who died Monday, Aug. 4, 2003, at Texoma Medical Center, Denison, Texas. The Rev. Ray Earley will officiate. She was born Wednesday, Feb. 7, 1951, in Lane to Allen and Mary (Tikubie) Carnes. She worked as a truck driver and secretary for the Choctaw Nation for the last three years. She attended Victory Life Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Elizabeth Allen and Mildred Webb, and brother Ben Carnes Jr. She is survived by her sons Kenneth Fults, Rockwall, Texas, and Joe Fults, Cartwright; granddaughter Roni Lynn Fults, Rockwall; grandson Justin Monroe Fults, Rockwall; sisters Tina Fields, Cartwright, Mary Bully and Virginia Bully, both of Durant, and Shirley Duran, Boyd, Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews. Burial will be in Soper Cemetery will pallbearers Jimmy Wayne Fields, Charles Anthony Fields, Michael Carnes, Tajarra Jean Carnes, Billy Webb, Robert Wayne Fults, Travis Fults and Koi Prough. Family hour is 7-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
