Rev. Nancy Taylor will officiate. He was born Monday, May 9, 1921, in Oklahoma to C.J. Duncan and Edna (Childers). He married Goldie Komlofske. He was a farmer and rancher who loved working the land and tending his cattle. He served in the United States Army from 1942-1946. He served in Iwo Jima and received a Good Conduct Medal and Meritorious Unit award. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and twin sister Louise Parker. He is survived by daughter Patty Haynie, Durant, and grandson Michael Haynie and wife Lacrecia, Fort Collins, Colo. VFW Post 3916 will perform rites at the cemetery chapel.
