All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Durant Daily Democrat Harry Christian Donaldson, 89 A memorial service will be held for Harry Christian Donaldson, 89, on Saturday, December 4, 2004, at 3 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Durant, Oklahoma. Robert Boyer will preside. Harry died on November 30, 2004, at the Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma in Durant. He was born January 20, 1915, in Easton, Missouri, to Albert Donaldson and Daisy Ruoff Donaldson. He lived most of his life in St. Joseph, Missouri, where he worked as a painter and served as an elder in the North Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. He moved to Durant in 1992 with his wife. The last five years they have resided at Oak Ridge Nursing Center in Durant. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Pearl Irene Dreyer Donaldson, Durant; son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Charlotte Webb Donaldson, Durant; two grandchildren, David Christian and wife Yaneth, Sherman, Texas, and Mandy Liane, Durant; one sister, Zillamary Benton, St. Joseph, Missouri; two sisters-in-law, Roberta and Marie Donaldson, St. Joseph, Missouri; and nieces and nephews. He is survived by many friends and family who will miss his kind strength and happy face. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Rodney Allen Donaldson; brothers, Virgil and Lawrence Donaldson; and sister, Marcy Donaldson.
