Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday at Northlake Baptist Church, Garland. The Rev. Bob Dean will officiate. Graveside service: 3 p.m. Monday in Restland Cemetery, Boswell, Okla. Visitation: was January 28 at Allen Funeral Home, Wylie. Billy was born in Fort Worth Aug. 16, 1945. His parents were the late William and Arlie Wood Deviney. He served in Vietnam with the United States Navy and married Alecia Hall Nov. 23, 1989, in Durant, Okla. Billy was a sprinkler fitter with union Local 669 prior to his illness. He was a member of Northlake Baptist Church in Garland. He was an avid sportsman who loved to fish and hunt and enjoyed the outdoors. Survivors: Wife, Alecia Deviney of Wylie; sons, Zack Deviney of Fort Worth, Greg Deviney of Fort Worth, Joe Corbett of Oklahoma, Jim Corbett of Denton and Jeff Corbett of Princeton; brothers, Vernon Deviney of Bismarck, Ark. and Kenneth Deviney of Sallisaw, Okla.; six grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
