Monday, August 18, 2003 Durant Daily Democrat Wanda Evans, 40 Services are pending with Brown’s Funeral Service for Wanda Evans, 40, Durant, who died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2003, at her home. ================ Tuesday, August 19, 2003 Durant Daily Democrat Wanda Nell Evans, 40 A service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel for Wanda Nell Evans, 40, Durant, who died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2003, at her residence. The Rev. David Erwin will officiate. She was born Sept 19, 1962, in San Antonio, Texas, to Ernest Henry Mullins and Dorothy Mae Mercer. She lived in Oklahoma most of her life and attended Durant schools. She was married to John Lewis Evans, Durant, and she worked as a certified nurses assistant. She was of the Pentecostal faith and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her mother; stepmother Mattie Armstrong,; brothers Henry Mullins and Ernest Mullins, and nephew Thomas Dartin. She is survived by her husband of the home; son Ronald Dee Lawson Jr., Durant; daughter LaRhonda Gayle Lawson, Roxton, Texas; sisters Mary Lee Hill, Rowlett, Texas, Teresa Crank and husband Herby, Durant, Lillian Clank and Vila, both of Oregon, Angie and Peggy, both of Salem, Ore., Sandra Vanzandt, New York; stepsisters Judy Robertson, Durant, Edna Davis and Linda Posey, both of Calera; brother Bobby Mullins and wife Elain, Calera; stepbrothers Ralph Armstrong Jr. and Rich Armstrong both of Durant; step father Ralph Armstrong, Durant; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Burial will be in Mead Cemetery with pallbearers Daniel Davis, Jake Parrish, John Evans, Chris Armstrong, James Bledsoe, Andy Evans and Herby Crank. Family hour is 6-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
