Friday, September 26, 2003 Durant Daily Democrat Lucy Lee Eslick, 86 A service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Watts Memorial Chapel, Madill, for Lucy Lee Eslick, 86, Durant, who died Thursday, Sept. 25, 2003, at Four Seasons Nursing Center. Everett Hodges will officiate. She was born Sept. 3, 1917, in Aylesworth, to William Franklin and Jennie Carrol Eastwood. She was raised in the Aylesworth community and lived in Cobb most of her life. She married Homer Otis Eslick, Jan. 22, 137, in Kingston. She was a member of the Cobb Baptist Church. She loved reading, sewing, gardening, her flowers and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband on May 5, 1981; one brother and five sisters. Burial will be in Woodberry-Forest Cemetery with pallbearers Mark Rawlings, Jim Milligan, Keith Milligan, Roy Garrison, David Longwell and W.J. ‘Dub’ Bryant. Honorary pallbearer is the Rev. Oscar Borin.
