Durant Daily Democrat Friday, January 30, 2003 Minerva Fobb, 90 Services are pending with Coffey-Murray Funeral Home for Minerva Fobb, 90, Bennington, who died Thursday, Jan. 29, 2004, at Oak Ridge Nursing Center, Durant. ========== Durant Daily Democrat Sunday, February 1, 2004 Minerva Fobb, 90 A service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church in Bennington for Minerva Fobb, 90, Bennington, who died Thursday, Jan. 29, 2004, at Oak Ridge Manor Nursing Home in Durant. The Rev. Gene Hancock and Mike Bailey will officiate. The daughter of Putwood and Fannie (Phillips) Billy, she was born Tuesday, May 23, 1913, in Bennington. Mrs. Fobb was a lifelong Bryan County resident, a homemaker and a member of Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church. She enjoyed beadwork, quilting, crocheting, going to church and doing church work. She married Joseph Fobb Sept. 4, 1946, in Bennington. Preceding her death were her parents, husband, sons Arnold Bully and Charles Fobb Jr., and a brother and sisters. Burial will be in Bennington Cemetery with Jeremy Louis, Melvin Mills, Larry Hammond, Joe Williams, Ben Ollis, Kevin Frank, Randy Pamplin and Randy Bully serving as pallbearers. Family hour is 6-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
