His brother George Washington Faulkner married Mary Viola Mcdonald, step-daughter of Donna Faulkner Jackson Mcdonald. Cephus Monroe Faulkner Cephus Monroe Faulkner of Exeter died Dec. 22 in Memorial Hospital at Exeter. He was 89. Born in Bismarck, Arkansas, he was the son of William Noah Faulkner and Elnora McClard Faulkner. He has been a resident of Exeter since 1943. Mr. Faulkner retired in 1967 from Sequoia Packing House in Woodlake. He is survived by his wife Ethel (Hardisty) Faulkner whom he married on April 18, 1924 in Bennington, Oklahoma. He was the oldest member of Exeter Free Will Baptist Church. He is also survived by six sons, Curtis of Clayton, Oklahoma, Marvin of Farmersville, Kenneth of Clovis, Donald of Porterville, Jarvis of Oceano, and Carrol Lee of Farmersville and three daughters, Juanita Meek of Bossier City, Louisiana, Wanda Lois Godfrey and Beverly Walker of Visalia. He is also survived by 32 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and several step-grand and great-grandchildren Funeral services were held Dec 28 at Neal Family Funeral Service Chapel. Interment was in Exeter District Cemetery.
