All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Durant Daily Democrat 6 Jan 2005 Gracie Pearl Franklin, 93 A service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel for Gracie Pearl Franklin, 93, Pampa, Texas, who died Jan. 3, 2005. Dr. Johnny Funderburg, pastor of the First Baptist Church, will officiate. She was born April 19, 1911, in Grayson County, Texas. She married Floyd Elmer Franklin Dec. 20, 1933. He preceded her in death in 1974. She had been a resident of the Pampa area since 1948. She was a member of the Pampa Chapter No. 65 Order of the Eastern Star and the First Baptist Church. She is survived by son-in-law C.F. "Shorty" Lilley, Skellytown, Texas; grandson Gerald Lilley and wife Cheryl, Pampa; granddaughters Paulette Lilley, Pampa, and Janette Coats and husband Pat, White Deer, Texas; great-grandson Bryan Coats, Amarillo, Texas; great-granddaughters Jennifer Coats and Kim Coats, both of White Deer; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by daughter Paulene Lilley in 1993, three brothers and one sister. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
