Freer, 84, Durant, who died Monday, March 1, 2004, at King’s Daughters and Sons Nursing Home. =========== Durant Daily Democrat Wednesday, March 3, 2004 Hallie Belle (Fisher) Freer, 83 A service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel for Hallie Belle (Fisher) Freer, 83, Durant, who passed away Monday, March 1, 2004, at King’s Daughters and Sons Nursing Home, Durant. The Rev. Charles Moss will officiate. Freer was born March 19, 1920, in Denison, Texas, to Oscar Norris and Bertrel Lewis. She was raised in the Texoma area and attended and graduated from Denison High School. She spent most of her time working as a waitress and later married Lloyd Freer in November, 1989, in Bella Vista, Ark. She came back to settle in Oklahoma from Arkansas in 1994. Freer enjoyed doing anything outdoors, especially gardening. She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Durant. She will be greatly missed by many. Freer was preceded in death by her parents; husbands Charles B. Fisher, William Mathias, and Lloyd Freer. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery, Calera, with pallbearers David Moss, Stewart Moss, Charles Moss, Tyler Moss, James Moss, Jim Taylor, Jarod Moss and James Taylor.
