Durant Daily Democrat Sunday, February 22, 2004 Monday, February 23, 2004 Lucille Gibson, 91 A service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Grace Indian Baptist Church for Lucille Gibson, 91, Durant, who died Friday, Feb. 20, 2004, at Calera Manor Nursing Home. The Revs. Raymond Taylor and Carroll Hooper will officiate. Gibson was born March 20, 1912 in Calera to Freeman Taylor Johnson and Lena (Jack) Jackson. She attended school at Lemon Hill and married Bill Gibson, who died in 1962. She was a homemaker who loved to cook, quilt and garden, and was a Charter member of Grace Indian Baptist Church. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Gibson was preceded in death by her parents; husbands Daniel and Bill; infant son Billy Joe; one grandson, four brothers and two sisters. Burial will be in Rosewood Cemetery, Achille, with pallbearers Rev. Leon Postoak, Rev. Chacha Mvita, Rev. Kelis Walker, Rev. William Frye, Rev. Albert Simon and Rev. Tom Anderson and Rev. Lesly Clark. Family hour is 6-8 pm. today.
