Files may be printed or copied for personal use only. ----------------------------------------------------- ::Coleman Cemetery--Coleman OK THE DURANT DAILY DEMOCRAT DEC. 11, 1998 Jerry Golden Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hopewell Freewill Baptist Church in Kenefic for Jerry Golden, 66 died Thursday, Dec.10, 1998, in Denison, Texas. The son of Frank and Betty (Samp1es) Golden, he was born Tuesday, July 19, 1932, in Caney. He worked in maintenance at SOSU and was a farmer and rancher. Mr. Golden was a member of the Hopewell Freewill Baptist Church and Masonic Lodge 200 in Wapanucka. He loved to deer hunt, go fishing and ride his horses. He also enjoyed being with his grandchildren and visiting with his longtime friends and in most recent months, going to church with his family. He married Edith Cook on Feb. 10, 1956, in Sherman. He was preceded in death by his parents. Burial will he in Coleman Cemetery under the direction of Coffey Funeral Home.
